CD - DVD Media

Our products are engineered and designed to protect the following media formats


Blue-ray

A high-capacity rewritable optical disc that holds two hours of high-definition video or 12 hours of standard video.


CD-Audio

An optical disc, read by lasers, containing prerecorded music.


CD-R

CD-ROM recording systems can be used to record data onto a compact disc-recordable like any other recordable media. However, they cannot be erased and re-recorded.


CD-ROM

An index or reference work that is prerecorded on a compact disc and accessed through a computer.


CD-RW

A CD-RW disc can be written over a thousand times and read on MultiRead CD-ROM drives or CD-RW compatible Audio CD players.


DVD

"Digital Versatile Disc" (Formally Digital Video Disc.) Same size as a CD but contains seven times CD capacity on a single side. DVDs can also be double-sided or dual layer.


DVD-R

Optical disc capable of having data written onto it once. Much larger capacity than CD-R.


DVD-RW

A rewritable DVD disc.


Optical Disc

A different access disc written and read light. Cd, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM and DVD-Video are read-only optical discs that are recorded at the time of manufacture and cannot be erased. CD-R and DVD-R discs are write-once. They are recorded in the user’s environment, but cannot be erased. CR-RW, DVD-RW an MO discs are rewritable.
